In the wake of Austin’s passage of the “HOME” ordinance, thousands of SF-3 zoned lots, previously limited to a single residence with a small ADU, became eligible for up to three residences.
Our clients asked us to develop new designs for affordable, modern starter homes on 3 large SF-3 lots in South & East Austin, each currently occupied by a single home. By strategically subdividing each lot and developing a flexible and varied set of plan layouts, we were able to realize plans for nineteen new attached & detached homes, ranging from 1,100 to 2,200 square feet.
