llvll (‘level’) is an Austin, Texas-based architecture firm specializing in multifamily, vertical mixed-use, office, retail, and hospitality, as well as speculative and custom single-family homes.

We engage our clients through a highly collaborative design process, focused on excellent listening and clear communication. We take time to develop a refined and detailed understanding of their visions, values, and criteria for success.

Our goal for every project is simple: a result that performs exceptionally from the perspectives of value, craft, sustainability and client satisfaction.

TRAVIS LUCY

Travis is a native Austinite and a seventh-generation Texan. He obtained a Bachelors of Environmental Design from Texas A&M University, and a Masters of Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture, graduating with honors from both. He is a licensed architect in the state of Texas with over 20 years combined experience in architecture, development and construction. 

Prior to founding llvll in 2017, he worked in award-winning practices including Bercy Chen Studio, McKinney York Architects, Sprinkle Robey Architects, and Nash Builders, in addition to a state-run affordable housing development financing program. He has overseen a broad range of project types, including higher education, museum/gallery, multifamily, office, retail, restaurant, and single-family.

DANIEL ARELLANO

With design/build expertise spanning far beyond the traditional boundaries of architectural practice, Daniel approaches design with a unique depth of insight into materiality and craft, rooted in real hands-on experience. Equally comfortable at scales ranging from thousands of square-feet of complex mixed-use program, down to a single piece of bespoke furniture, his innate talent, curiousity and rigorous, disciplined approach speaks for itself, in numerous award-winning projects that he’s both designed and constructed, previously with Bercy Chen Studio and StoryBuilt.

Daniel holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Arizona, and a Master of Architecture from the University of Texas, and is a licensed architect in the state of Texas.
